Ninth Annual New Jersey Book Arts Symposium
Styles of Collecting, Styles of the Book
Book Artists Jam
Since the third Symposium, in 1997, visitors have been invited to bring book art to share on long tables provided by the Dana Library. This part of the program is called the Book Artists Jam, a nod to the Institute of Jazz Studies (IJS) located on this floor of the library, as much as it is an evocation of the freeform, participatory nature of the event. For glimpses of a past BAJ, see New Jersey International Book Arts Symposium. Below are some uncaptioned photographs taken this year's Symposium, Styles of Collecting, Styles of the Book,"
