Opening

Ninth Annual New Jersey Book Arts Symposium

Styles of Collecting, Styles of the Book

Exhibition Opening

The Exhibition accompanying Styles of Collecting, Styles of the Book, opened at approximately 4:00 PM. After a few heartfelt words of thanks, curator, Karen Guancione, invited people to view the exhibition in the Dana Gallery adjoining the John Cotton Dana Room. Of course, people had been doing just that all day, since the exhibition had been on view since early morning. (The fact is, the only way to get to the Dana Room leads through the Dana Gallery.) The following twelve photographs of the opening were taken at different times during the day. The Symposium, itself, marks the exhibition opening.
